Welcome to the Buick Centurion Registry!  This site is dedicated to preserving the history of as many Centurions from 1971-1973 as possible.  Hopefully, this site will enable an easy way for you to register your car, as well as view the other cars in the registry.  Some of us have been waiting a long time for a registry like this to come along.  Please take a look around here and enjoy some information and historical items regarding the Centurion - a truly unique and beautiful car that was discontinued way before its time...

6-4-2007  Rest assured that everyone who has sent in a registration for his/her car has been properly recorded in my database.  They may not show up on the website, but they're here.  My priorities have been away from the computer recently, much to the detriment of the websites I run and maintain.  Also, last October, I bought a 1971 Formal Coupe and have been doing some work on it.  My progress can be followed in the Centurion forums.  I also sold my convertible to a fellow over in Germany, and he is an active member of the forums.  If you have not already done so, please consider joining our forums!  We have been able to share so much information and stories so far.  The more, the merrier!  On a side note, the number of cars I have entered into the database is close to 300 - much less than what is actually out there, so spread the word!  Thanks for all of your support!

11-13-2006  I am in the process of opening a discussion forum dedicated to the mighty Centurion!  I am hoping that this will provide everyone with more information on these cars, but also to keep me on top of things on the registry.  A discussion forum is a great way for everyone to share ideas and information.  It also gets more people excited about their cars when they can openly discuss the problems and questions they have.  By the end of this week, it will be open to everyone.  As most of you have probably seen, I have been fairly lax in getting any real updates done.  Now, all I have to do is get all the registrations entered beginning with the ones sent on April!  Wow, I'm behind.  EDIT:  11-15-2006  See above for the link to the new discussion board.

5-29-2006  On the back cover of the monthly BCA (Buick Club of America) magazine, I had a short article published on the Centurion.  I mentioned this registry and received a huge response in registrations and phone calls!  Thanks to everyone who has sent in a registration.  Unfortunately, I am even more behind with posting to the website, so it may be a while before I can get caught up on things here.  I'm at a point right now with other things in life that this particular operation has been low on the priority list for right now.  In addition, I have recently purchased a nice low-mileage 71 LeSabre that I've been prepping for the national meet in Rochester, MN.  For more information on this meet, please visit the Buick Club of America website.

1-16-2006  I have made substantial progress on getting entries posted in the last few weeks.  Another batch just came in, so it looks like I'll be busy for a while this Winter.  We now have 228 Centurions documented in the registry!  This is now one year old, and it has grown more than I had ever anticipated.  I do need to stress the fact that I CANNOT document your car without a VIN.  Without that number, your registration is useless.  Thanks!!

6-28-2005  Some time ago, a friend told me about a 1971 Centurion show car that would be displayed at the big car shows.  It was pearl white in color with gold trim.  A picture of this car came up on eBay a couple months ago, and I grabbed it!  So, I give you the 1971 Centurion Show Car!  Notice the wheels are painted differently, and also the Customline boot that was not available in 1971.  Although it is not the greatest picture, it is still a fun conversation piece.  I know there is a color picture of this car floating around somewhere, so if you have access to it, I would LOVE to display it here.

4-17-2005  New from ClassicBuicks.com, 71-76 convertible courtesy lenses are now available!!  Click HERE to go to the direct page.  Part number FUSCL326 - $18 a pair!!

1-26-2005  Thanks everyone for the entries and the information you're sending!  I do want to stress the importance of CORRECTLY filling out the Registry form, and if you have any questions about it, please please please ask me by emailing me HERE.  It saves me from having to sift through your form and finding the holes, and then emailing you back and asking the same questions that were asked on the form.  In the future, I may provide some sort of tutorial or help page to get you through the techno information that you are unfamiliar with.  For now, though, this will do just fine.  Things like a VIN and Cowl Tag codes are vital to the registry's function.  Without them, you should wait until you have access to them before you send an entry.  Again, a big THANK YOU goes out to everyone who has participated so far.  I'm eager to see how the site grows in the near future!
