73 8 track getting power but no sound

Radio has power (light ccomes on) and can hear speakers "clicking" when radio is turned on. Antenna is hooked up.

    Any ideas?

Have you found a new Radio yet? My 8 track and fm stereo did the same thing. I was told mine was not repairable because of a bad part that was not obtainable.
I then sent the stereo to a guy in Tampa, Fl. and he put a new 4 ch. Kenwood circuit board inside the factory radio with RCA inputs and outputs. Everything works like new. even has the functioning orange "stereo" light. It was a little costly at $475. but works great.

My stereo does essentially the same thing.
Randy thought it may be the speakers.
I found a local guy who totally rebuilds the innards of the original radio.
He can also make it possible to add on CD players, sirius radio and other sound accessories.
As soon as I fix a few more mechanical items, the radio will be my next splurge.
