Thread: Trim question

    Default Trim question

Hi all I am new to these cars but a customer brought one to my shop that has been restored. All of the trim along the bottoms of the doors and quarters is falling off. Does anyone know what originally held this trim on? I would assume clips held it on but any original clips are missing. Any help would be appreciated!

    Yes you assume right
There should be clips that hold the trim in place
They are aproxematly 4 inch long and 1 inch wide exept by the doors there they are smaller
I was never able to find any replacements or reproductions of them

    Have you checked Northland Fasteners?

    Hi Erik,
While I have your attention; do you have any experience from the brand “ABS” regarding rotors / brake discs?
They seem to be big in brake parts and Dutch

    I have no personal experience
But if i check the forums here, they say that the quality is not that good and you should not buy them
And other forums they rank them under good
    So i dont know
Brands that rank good on all forums are for instance Brembo or Bosch

    Thanks Erik!
Then I’ll probably go for EBC discs instead that were available on ebay.uk, think they were 20€ more for a pair than the ABS ditto on ebay.de
Few things are more annoying than replacing discs that go wobbling fairly quickly after installed

    Sorry for hi-jacking the thread…..
