Default 1972 LeSabre convert. / 455cui / lots of options

A LeSabre, black / black / black, has the 455cui engine and is loaded with options, low mileage and looks nice :

Very nice car overall, although the total lack of badging/letters is a huge distraction, as are the incorrect sport mirrors. But I figure this car will do well.

You were right, Keith, it made US $12,800.

... why not ? Returns a car more often to Ebay after "sold" by this seller ?

After the auction started Bob dug out the info from the last time this car was listed and it had a load of issues. Many have obviously been fixed, but I am assuming in person the car is not as pristine as it appears in the pictures and the buyer backed out. This seller is a MASTER at presentation, he could make a PIG look pretty(not that this one is a pig)

I really dislike the fact that the seller "enhances" the color and contrast on the photos in all of his/her auctions. It's just too much.

CORRECTION: This auction for the LeSabre isn't the seller I was thinking of. It is this one... (and this particular auction looks like a scam)

As far as I remember these Photos are taken from an auction of the following seller when he offered that car in 7.2011, Adam ! - http://motors.shop.ebay.com/classics..._from=&_ipg=25 So you may be right assuming a scam.
Guess he is the one you mean – the one with the „special“ photos. But the seller of the LeSabre also has the same background in his pictures and similar kind of photos. May be we talked about them here last year (?) and that they seem to be one and the same seller with only two addresses … .

They are somehow connected, I have seen thier cars show up on each others auctions in the past, maybe the same seller, just a different lot/location.

Back to the topic here – the LeSabre auction number 2 ended with US$14,600 after 45 bids !!

I´m curious now whether we will see her again in a 3rd auction … .
