Congratulations to both seller and buyer. Gabe, I think that your new '71 Formal Coupe is very possibly the nicest example in existence, so you've scored big-time in my opinion.

Gabe, I had noticed your avatar on the V8Buick forum, so it's great to hear more about the LeSabre. I hope you will give us a link to the listing or auction when it goes up for sale.

By the way, I love rarely-seen 1971 Tealmist Gray -- not to mention equally beautiful Burnished Cinnamon and Twilight Turquoise.

Love the 71 Tealmist also, my Great Aunt had a 71 Grandville in the same color (whatever Pontiac called it) with a black vinyl top.

Yea, teal/mist gray is definantly my favorite color on a Buick, but I think Burnished Cinnamon has just bypasssed it! LOL

You have a great looking Centurion yourself!! Is that paint color from the factory? Have never seen it on a full-size Buick before!

Well, Adam.......... Did you make that long trip to Illinois over the weekend to check out TT? We're all hanging on pins and needles to see if this one will be your latest project.

Nope, it was a very busy weekend. I'm doing work on a guy's 59 Cadillac over there, so I'm waiting on some parts for it to show up before I make the trip again...especially with gas being $3.87 right now.

We are at $3.75 and I thought that was bad. I see the Centurion spending a great deal of the summer in the garage. I know most of the trips I had planned are history unless somethings changes.

LOL, you think $3.75 is bad, here in NYC its in the middle $4 dollar range, and I always use 93 or 94 octance, especially in my new 5 Mseries BMW. I spent $70.00 filling up my bimmer on Fri!

Can't have been to long ago Gabe, we are not far off of topping the all time record for a gallon of gas - and that was the last time the gas spiked. I have been staying between $50 - $55 to fill the Subaru, it has the H6 and prefers high test, but it's been put on a diet. The Centurions and high test would make an ugly number come up on the pump if they were empty.

    Guys
    What are you complaining about
I wish prices of the gas would be the same here as it is on the other side of the puddle

Congratulations on purchasing the Burnished Cinnamon Centurion! I sold the car to Adam and he took it to another level entirely...glad to see it going to a great Buick home.
Here it is when I put 15 x 7's and Redlines on it

    It is a beauty too.
    Cheers,

Thanks Ted!! I also have a set of 15x7's that I plan to put on after I polish them up and paint them.
Are you the original owner of the car?

I found it here in Cincinnati- driving to work - this was parked a block from my office with a for sale sign in the window.

Luckily I could swing into action and purchased it that day!

    When I found it:
