Adam, I'm thankful to hear that it's going to a good home, and hope we can keep track of it during the years ahead. I have always wanted to see your car first-hand, and perhaps there will still be an opportunity.

Meanwhile, we'll be most eager to learn more about this Twilight Turquoise convertible.

Time to spill your guts, buster! I noticed on the BCA forums that your '58 Limited now has your garage to itself, indicating that your beautiful Centurion has gone away.

Can you share with us who (and where) the fortunate new owner is?

It is still sitting in my driveway, waiting for the shipping company to pick it up today. Final destination is Long Island. "Gabe" on the v8 board bought it. He currently has a 72 LeSabre that he's been wanting to do exactly what I have already done on my car, so he just bought mine done.

I never LIKE selling any of my cars, but it seems to have worked out in my favor so far. My cars keep getting nicer every time I buy. Although, if I'm able to snag this TT car, that would be a contradictory statement. It would be nice to get the TT and fix to drive until the 58 is done...then tackle the TT car and make it right.

If I don't get TT, then I will be on the hunt for some other 71, I'm sure!

Adam, isn't it time you traded up to a 72?

I've come close a couple times, but can't ever pull the trigger. Once a 71, always a 71 I guess

Welcome, Gabe, and congrats for your new nice power-Centurion !

As I said, Adam, "... ... - very good cars at high prices always need high interested buyers and those are as rare as such cars. So there always is a heap of luck necessary for selling such a good car for a reasonable price. ... ...". -
Glad that you found the right man now !

Looking forward watching the ongoing story of this awesome BC Formal Coupe ... !
... and hoefully of a TT car too !!

Welcome, Gabe. It was hard for some of us on the forum to see Adam sell his beautiful '71 but it sounds like it is going to a great home. Undoubtedly, you can hardly wait for it to arrive.

I'm one of those strange folks who finds your '72 LeSabre 4 door hardtop a very interesting car and I watched it in March, 2010 when it was on ebay. Cars like yours were the "bread and butter" for Buick in those days and they sold a lot of them. You just don't see many survivors like it anymore and yours is unique because of its color, lack of vinyl roof and relatively few options. So your car has at least one fan right here on the forum. We're glad that you have joined us and hope Adam's '71 is everything you have been looking for.

You're right, I can't wait for it to get to me!! LOL. It's hard to find "exactly" what your looking for most of the time, and this time I did. I'm very greatful to Adam for selling it to me, and taking such immaculate care of it.
I have been a Buick guy ever since I was born. My pop owned a '71 Electra 2DR teal-mist-grey when I was born, and to this day remains my favorite car in the world. I think its a mixture of the color and body style. He then traded it in for a brand new '75 Electra Limited Park Avenue 4DR in 1975, which he kept till '81 when he and the rest of the family, including me, got into Cadillacs. I've always wanted to get back into a Buick, and last year bought a '72 LeSabre. It's just something about Centurions and LeSabres that I love. Don't get me wrong, a GSX is still #1 on my fav's list! LOL.
I currently don't have the room to keep the LeSabre, so sad as I feel about it, I'm going to be putting it up for sale this week. I did some upgrades without replacing and boring over the 350, which I did. Brand new TA perf intake, brand new Edelbrock 750 4BBL, brand new black valve covers from Tri-Shield(Jim Wiess), MSD box, coil, and distrubutor. Brand new A/C condensor, brand new Exhaust manifold with also duel mufflered exhaust flowmaster 40 series. I then got the idea to find a 455, have it rebuilt and bored, etc, etc.. and at the same time I've been following Adam's car(whether it sold or not), and finally decided to approach him about selling it to me.
In the end, it worked out great!!
