I will try to investigate further, but the car is about an hour from my house in IL. It is sitting at an apartment building in Cahokia, IL, and it's not exactly the nice part of town. I pulled into the parking lot and was getting nervous, so the only photo I got was this one, at 100 feet away. I could tell that it wasn't the original paint, but who would paint a car that color unless it was that originally? If I get back over there soon, I may knock on the doors of the building and see if I can flash some franklin brothers in their faces. From what I hear, it's been sitting there a while. It needs a top for sure. I couldn't get close enough to see the interior.

Interesting......it looks pretty needy but at least it's still on the road.

How amazing is that, Adam? You KNOW how rare the Twilight Turquoise convertibles are and to find one by accident in your own back yard is unbelievable. Yes, it looks like it would probably need a complete Adam make over but you'd have something else to work on (THAT YOU HAVE WANTED) once the Limited is finished. Keep us updated.

Adam, what an amazing discovery! When you consider how seldom we see ANY Centurions out there, it makes this one all the more remarkable.

    Please keep us updated.

It will probably be a couple weeks before I can get out there again. But I will definitely keep you all updated on how/if this goes.

Adam, that link appears to be for the same car that was the subject of this recent topic:

    http://www.buickcenturion.com/forums...ight-Turquoise

    http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/2233826320.html

I think we determined that it was probably not originally a Twilight Turquoise car.

You're right. I had seen the other ad as well, so assumed it was a different car. Bummer!

I downloaded the full size version of the photo I posted above...looks pretty good in this one

The body looks surprisingly solid. I might just run over to IL this weekend.

I never verified the color on the suspected verdemist car. Just looking at the door jambs was enough for me to believe it wasn't a TT car.

Adam, is this a way of telling us that you have a buyer for your Burnished Cinnamon Centurion?

Yep, I made a verbal deal today. Totally came out of nowhere...it's going to a good home, though.
