Thanks for the heads-up about the seamist convertible. You saved me a trip.

Phil, the '73 is presentable but the it needs a trip to the paint shop. The left rear quarter panel had a lot of chips in the paint like it was hit with small pebbles or stones. There is crazing to the paint on the top of the left rear fender along the trunk line. And the rear sail panel between the roof and the trunk lid.
The scrape on the passenger side is not as bad as I thought. When I stopped back this past weekend I took a better look at it. It's not real deep and it may just buff out. I'm not a pro at this stuff so I am just guessing.
Here is the seller's information: US 1 Auto Sales. 215-702-8980. The owner is named Dave. They are selling it for the owner and they are insisting that it is a one owner car. I had got them to knock some off of the price and I was going to try for more, but my money source isn't happening at this time.
  4. Rick..that seamist 72 has a ton of miles on it..i would look at it carefully. It sounds like it was rough as he replaced the engine and other things that indicate a hard life. The 73..How bad is the paint? ..Thanks.

Phil, the car is still available. In fact I have stopped to see it several times and I have been trying to get the funds together to possibly purchase it myself. The interior needs to be cleaned and it does need paint work for sure. But all in all it's one of the more decent ones I've seen. And it hasn't been butchered.
There is a '72 seamist green convertible that as been on Craigs list off and on recently. It's in Blairstown NJ. Have you seen it? I had contacted the seller and he said I could come and see it any time I wanted since he is retired but getting that free day is next to impossible for the next week or so. The seamist green convertible would never had been my first color choice (although it is a pretty color) but this one looked like it was in nice shape. It has air, AM/FM and chrome wheels and apparently not much else.
I can provide the name of the seller of the '73 for you. I'll send them to you tonight. The cards are outside in my daily driver.
    Take care,
