I am new to this forum and have a few newbie questions if anybody could help me out it would be appreciated.
What year(s) of convertibles are the most valued by collectors?
I know this is a total guesstimate, but what would I expect to get for a centurion convertible if it was in rough shape and I sold it as a parts car? (I am in the midwest)
I am assuming that it might be worth something because my Dad said they only made 10,000 or so of these.
Thanks!

71 and 72's generally bring more than 73's, with the 72's seeming to be the most. A rough Centurion Convertible really is a hard sell - it doesn't really command any more premium than any other big car convertible on the market. Probably actually less than some. Centurions seem to demand good money only if they are in a condition that truly warrant it. They are a well kept secret, that is slowly catching on, but along way from where they should be. If the car is drivable, but needs everything $1500 or less, if it can be driven as a work in progress, maybe a little more. There are only a handful of Centurions out there that would truly bring premium top end of the book prices. A picture of it and a better description would go a long way into helping pinpoint it.

Thanks fr all of the feed back, but when I got some pics of the car in the daylight I realized it was a Le Sabre Convertible.
Any feed back on the the value of this as a parts car?
Can anyone tell what year it is by the photos I uploaded?
Thanks for all of the help.

I wish I could save it but I'm now committed to a new lady.
Where is this car located and is it running?
Maybe in time I'll get a convertible to go with the hardtop.
I am a DREAMER! :D

As Adam noted, from what we can see, it is a 72. Clearly, the front clip has been replaced and we have a LeSabre hood, fenders and upper grille. But the lower grilles are from a Centurion and the green interior was not available on a LeSabre although it was on a Centurion. While the VIN would be proof positive of exactly what you have, my guess is that it is a Centurion and probably 72. If you have or can get the VIN, we can tell you for sure.
