Have any of you taken a 455 and rebuilt it? I have a spare engine and want to slowly rebuild it. My existing one is sound and running well.....the other is in good working order right now. My thought is when the engine in my "good" car gives out I'll have one ready. I plan on parting out my spare car and dropping the engine for space in my garage.

What do you think?

How much should I expect for budget?

How long will one last in a limbo stage without running?

Should i just wait until one craps out and rebuild the spare then?

As always your advice is welcomed!

I've built a lot of them. Your budget will vary widely depending on what you want to do. You store one long term if you do some preparation. When you build it is up to you. You can call me at 623-628-0972 if you want.
