Who's planning on attending?

This event is only about 6 hours from me, and will fit my schedule better than the national meet, unfortunately. I haven't missed a national meet yet since my first meet in 2003. Hopefully, the regional will give me my "fix" I need to make it through another year!

So how many Centurions can we get??

No Nats this year? Say it ain't so.

I should be more specific - no BCA nats...It's in Seattle. There's no way I can take the time necessary from work to make the trip. This is the next best thing for me with the BCA.

BPG - definitely will be there...and ready.:D

There is a very good chance I will be there since my Mom lives in Brookfield. It's a 6 hour drive for me. I have an IPass that makes the drive a little easier.

Adam and Eric, do you guys realize that if you're both able to attend this event with your '71 Formal Coupes, this would be the first time ever -- to my knowledge -- that two '71 Formal Coupes have appeared at the same BCA event?

Gosh, I almost want to drive out to this event in celebration of a "Formal Coupe" milestone! Of course, if I did come, that would make THREE!

Brian, too bad you live so far away your car looks awesome!
I wouldn't exactly say my car will be "appearing" in the event. I don't own any show cars so I will be a spectator. If I can get my Centurion exhaust manifold fixed in time I will drive it but not show it. Otherwise I may drive my 71 Electra or something else. :xyxthumbs:

Eric - great to meet you this weekend! Always nice to put a face to a name.

Saturday turned out to be the best day of the YEAR! What a beautiful day...and we had about 85 cars attend, but there were many more that were just parked in the lot and not registered.

The laid-back format of this event was different - and it was nice to not have to really worry about having the car clean for the judges. Even though I did anyway:laugh: It rained every night last week, and our cars were completely trashed. It took me quite some time to get all the road grime and mud off the car, and out of the engine compartment.

I have a few pictures, but most of them are from the trip up to WI. I'll see if I can resize and post them this evening.
