I really don't want to put bad shocks on because I want to stabilize my car and get better braking.

Please advise me to better shocks or if these are fine or what.

That auction is for front shocks. I would imagine that the local parts stores have them readily available? Gabriel is a good brand.

Smartin my car I hope looks as good as yours soon.

Any idea how to replace the rear axle? I want to replace it because it is old. What is the estimated cost and do you have a good website to see.

Do you want to replace the whole thing? Is there anything specifically wrong with it? If you're looking to get a positraction rear end with a 3.xx gear ratio, start looking. It takes most of us a year or more to locate good used sets. They are not reproduced. These 9 3/8" rears are pretty much bulletproof...

I thought it might be nice to replace it. If they are bulletproof I am fine though. About those shocks though...do I need shocks and springs? Or just shocks

If the back of the car is sagging more than you'd like you should replace the springs, otherwise just replace the shocks.
