Before buying another one, have you tried taking yours apart and cleaning it up? I've done that a couple times with some success.

i will try that, could you tell me how to get the knob of the headlight switch off? Ive tried pulling it, turning it etc. im afriad im gonna break it, whats the trick?:Dou:

You have to reach behind the dash. Find the back of the switch. There is a button you have to push while you pull the handle out.

wait, we are talking about the headlight switch right? Im tring to remove the dash trim so i can remove the wiper switch.

Yes...the headlight knob must be removed so the little bezel can be spun off. You can then pop off the dash bezel the expose the wiper switch. It will be a bugger to get out, but just take your time. It will come.

No problem! I've had to do this a couple times. I did it once on the side of the road on the way to Flint...that was fun. The wipers wouldn't shut OFF.

Hey, thatīs what I had last year ! I thought it would be a contact problem and took my contact spray - only a little shot into the gap between the switch and the dash and also to the rear of the switch from under the dash, then some switch movements and the ghost was blown away. Didnīt had it again until today and hope it will never come back b/c Iīm not friend of such fun.:rolleyes:
