What problem is there you're having? Are they not all level with each other?
I am not finding anything on the valve height at the tips in the chassis manual, but I did find the "installed spring length" which gives you the length at closed and open position.
If you are milling the heads at all, it will be a good idea to get adjustable pushrods so you can be sure your lifter preload is correct, and that you don't have any valves hanging open when you torque the rockers down.

thanks for the info ,im almost sure that when onto the throttle hard im either having a valve stay open and i get a missfire, i checked all ignition parts and have replaced complete distrubutor with brand new HEI part, wires are new , but i think you may have shed the lite on the pushrod thing thanks buckeye455

I compression test will give you the answer pretty quick on which cylinder it is....if indeed that is the problem.

recently discovered my problem!! The car originally had a points distrubutor which ran a resistance wire to the distubutor, back in the wiring harness it had detiorated and only a few strands of wire were left. the dist was only getting about 9.5 volts, I ran a new wire from the ignition switch, and bingo!!! the engine stood right up!!
