I have finally received my centurion. Bought in december and it took about 5 months to have it shipped over the ocean

Since I bought it at an auction and the vehichle was confiscated goods due to unpaid bills and I believe also the previous owner had died I didnīt know much about itīs history.

But when I started to clean it up a couple of days ago I found recepits and name of owners. In 2006 they had the engine rebuild. That explains the condition it showed when I had the engine tested (compression) :)
And several parts have been replaced such as exhaust, shocks, springs, alternator, new top and a paintjob thats unusually proffesionell done etc

Overall itīs in very good shape so Iīm really pleased although I have some minor things to fix before I take it out on the roads..

Can anyone tell me if the plate above the radio is common on these vehichles?

Iīm missing some parts such as Buick Letter emblem on trunk and also the trimpieces on front fenders along the side. If anyone have these laying, please let me know.

And yes, the wheels look awful. Itīs 22 inch wheel with 270*35 tires (fat). Iīm a original parts guy but Iīm starting to like this setup :xyxthumbs:

I remember this car and I think I remember the auction site.
I didn't realize one of our associates won that auction.
Congratulations and good luck with your Centurion.
What options does it have? I don't remember what the auction site listed.
And hopefully you can find a beautiful set of stock chrome wheels for her.

Youīre right Per ;)
Iīm still so excited that my brain is not working as it should...

But the fm radio just gives out a sore noise. At the dashboad I have a powerantenna switch but theres no antenna or even a hole for one :Dou:

My congratulations ! I remember that we thought that the risk was higher than normal when buying this car; but you have won the bet !
Wish you good luck on all roads, enjoying the northern summer !:xyxthumbs:

Good for you Micke!! Can't wait to see what you do to her. Start checking ebay for the stuff you're missing. (there is chrome on there now!) It's hit or miss though, but you know that. And there are quite a few guys on here that have spare parts too. Get your list going.

Like we talked about a few weeks/months ago, it's time to get your name changed. Now that you have the car, it's gotta happen !

SwedeMcQueen was your 2nd choice, right!?! :beers:

Thanks steve.

Yes SwedeMcQueen sounds more propriate than MickeMustang :Brow:
I have tried to change it on this site but it didnīt work out. Maybe theres a good reason not to be able to change names from time to time.
