1973 455 High Performance engine

I own a 1973 Buick Centurion convertible with a 455 engine. I happen to have th eoriginal window sticker from the car and it say High Performance 455 CU IN engine w 4 bbl carb the option is A9.

here are my questions. where all the cneturion 455's in 1973 "High Performance"?

is it possible mine is some type of upgrade 455? could my engine be the same as the stage 1?

any guidance is appreciated.

Hi - welcome to the board!

In 1973, the A9 option was the standard 455. The High Perf 455 was A3.
