Looking for feedback.
Anyone using the shorty TA headers? Or are you using full length headers and if so which brand?
Going Mandrel this year.

TA shorties will fit nice with no modifications, that I'm aware of.
The full length headers will require some work:
The engine must be jacked up a couple inches to fit them into position.
The cross braces that run diagonally from the frame rails to the center crossmember have to be permanently removed.
The headers themselves must be bent to line up with the trans crossmember "humps"....
OR You have to modify the trans crossmember to line up the humps with the header outlets.

Adam,
Do you have headers on your Centurion?
Srecko has a set of ceramic coated Poston headers on his. The headers layed close to the fuel lines so he had to reroute them. He also uses a crossmember from an Olds Cutlass. The dual bumps are farther apart so he did not have to bend headers.
Srecko had the x-pipe, but before winter Srecko had a catastrophic failure. :spank: He had three passengers in car and while going over a hill and coming down the driveshaft touched the x-pipe and sheered into two pieces. The aftermath was two holes in the floorboard.
Srecko now has since gone 3" straightpipes with electronic cut offs.

I had headers in my convertible, which Rolf now owns.
I also did have to reroute my transmission cooling lines.
