i found 2 nos stage 1 badges for the front fenders of the 73, the car is an actual stage 1,so i was thinking of buying them. the thing is i do not know where or if they were actually badged . i kind of would like to add them, but im on the fence about drilling holes. any feedback or help would be great!phil

Common misnomer - there were no official "Stage1" Centurions. No badging, either. The W code in the VIN indicates a "High performance 455/TH400 with dual exhaust." This is a hybrid between the standard 455 and the real Stage1 that was installed in the A bodies.

Don't drill the holes:tonge2: unless you really want to see a set of Stage1 emblems on your car:confused4:

Can you attach the emblems with windshield adhesive, or some other reversible kind of glue?

I know, you can cut out a sheet magnet to fit the Stage1 emblems and then you can place them where-ever you want. :p

Johnafter what adam said i changed my mind, being sort of an originality freak,i cant justify spending $125 for the emblems and then grind down the studs and stick them on, either way i screw up beautiful paint.plus if there was no true emblem actually made for it,and the fact that on paper and air it didnt exist, whats the point!but ill tell you something, the difference in power between my 72 with the standard 455, and the 73 high performance is literally" night and day!"i would not have even given it a second thought, but after driving the 2 cars" unbelieveable" phil
