Got a break in the nightmare and took a peak at Ebay this afternoon.
This was just listed.
They must have dyed the dashboard red. Not a standard color for 1971-1973 that I can remember.
Not a perfect car.

The dash face is not correct too. Not a bad car for the sale price.

The car is nicely optioned and an early build but it is far from original. The seats are white (not available in 73) while the door panels are the correct neutral although the word Centurion is missing on the passenger door panel. The red dash and steering wheel could be from a 73 Electra Custom or Riviera where the dark red interior was offered and the speedometer bezel is from 74.
But it may have also been resprayed as was suggested above. There were no red accents offered on 73 Centurions. The red carpeting is also incorrect as you can see the original brown -- again on the lower door panel. On the exterior, all of the wheel opening moldings are gone. The price isn't bad but if you want an original, this one isn't it.
