Ok guys, I decided to start a new thread on this to ensure you all know about this. (Good advice Adam!) Here's a cut and pasted note I left on the other thread...

Hey fella's... it's almost time! I believe I've settled on a shirt. Meeting with the folks over at the embroidery shop tomorrow. (hopefully!) When we finalize, I'll post a picture of the finished product and perhaps a website for the shirt. (if one is available)
So, here's what I need going forward.

Either send me a PM or Email the following information to me:
Name:
Shirt Size:
Color choice(s):
# of Shirts wanted:

On the shirts - Sizes are; S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL. (They are full cut shirts)
Color choices: NAVY or BLACK (if there are other choices, I'll share them)

My plan is to confirm your choices PRIOR to placing the order.

My email is: dewbers@nationwide.com When you email - send me your screen name as well!!!
Just to refresh your memories... the Helmet logo will go on the left chest and the wording will go on the left sleeve:

The cost of the shirts is still in the negotiating stage. I am hopefully going down there in a few hours to finalize. The shirts will run in the $20's, then we'll have to add the embroidery. My guess is that we'll end up in the low to mid $30 range. This is a good quality shirt. It's not top shelf mind you b/c I am trying to keep it priced right for all of us. But it's not going to be found on the discount rack either. It will be at home on the golf course, car show or even dress down day at work. (slacks with the shirt and loafers) I hope you'll all be happy with it, as that is my goal! Shipping is another story all together. B/C we have guys all over the map / world, it's impossible for me to give you a price. I just don't know. I guess the Stateside guys will be in the $12 range (??) and you oversea boys... well I just don't know. I've never shipped anything overseas before so it will be a learning experience for me.

Don't forget, I have navy blue and black shirts so you all can choose your favorite color. (Keith!! )

Steve if you get paid via Paypal you'll have the option to ship the items ( you can also request for a free pickup and also they can supply you the boxes) Priority mail for shirt packaged up to 2 pounds will be around $7. That's for USA. Also if you do it via Paypal USPS gives you a shipping discount (i sell from time to time stuff on ebay and i am sure about that). There is also an option for international shipping (don't forget to claim it as a gift (value not more than $20) otherwise the guys will have to pay taxes for it.

Guys - I met with the embroidery folks just about an hour or two ago, and I am pretty excited. Next Friday (if all goes well), I'll have two samples to photo and post on here. One black and one blue. Then you all can see what I see..... here's a break down on the final cost:
Shirt: $25.98
Chest logo: $6.00
Left sleeve: $4.00
TOTAL: $35.98 per shirt.
Round up to $36.00 for the ease of math guys...
Does this sound OK?? I'll check out Foti's advice on the shipping. This is all very new to me. I'll do it as inexpensively as possible!

I will post pictures of the shirts as soon as possible. They are Port Authority shirts. Rapid Dry series. You can Google this, but you won't find the exact shirt on the Port Authorities site. I just checked.

Lastly, we may be able to have multiple color options, rather than just Black and Blue. Is there an interest in this? I almost hate to put this out there, but I want you guys to have as many options as I can work out.

Steve, the price certainly works for me. Your effort on this is greatly appreciated, and I'm looking forward to the photos of the shirts.

I think Phil was hoping he could order one in Colonial Yellow.

Thus far, I've heard from nine guys for a total of 16 shirts. Much lower #'s than I what I thought we'd get. Plus I haven't heard from a bunch of you regulars! I'll give it more time. Hoping to post pics by weeks end (waiting for embroider to stitch it up) and will then start the count down clock. We'll run the order and that will be it. I don't plan on placing more than one order unless the demand warrants it. So if you're going to want one (or several), then reach out and let me know! Here's a link for the type of shirt we'll use. I think my supplier will allow color choices if you really want to get nuts.....

Hey Foti - they have up to 6XL, so us big boys are good to go!!
Hey Phil- they have a "dandelion" color... does it match your ride?

I am working on a t-shirt design as we speak. That's part two of this endeavor!

I still would like to have 2 BUT what happens if it doesn't fit.......:Dou: . Usually 3XL fits me ok but depending on brand manufacturer ect ect they seem to have other norms:confused4: OK STEVE GET ME A 4XL BLACK ONE 100%. If it fits me good i would like a second one BUT if it's not possible that's ok. So put me down for one.

Sorry for the delay Steve, had way too much on my plate in the past week or so. Work picked up and is extremely busy. Good and bad...no free time, but a lot more money. Been busy putting up a new car port tent replacing the wind torn one. This time 6 of 10 footings each have 40 pounds of cement filled in the footings along with anchors on the other 4 poles. This is not going anywhere. Got it shipped and put up in under 5 days and before the next rain fall.

Anyway down to business. Count me in for 2 extra large in black please.

Thanks:xyxthumbs:

Steve,
You might want to post a list of the 9 people you have. I don't know if I'm in your list or not. I would like 2 shirts, 1 large, 1 medium (both black).

Thanks for putting this together,
John

Hey John - good idea... plus I've rec'd a few more these past few days. I'll post tomorrow, as I left the list at the office.

Rick - welcome back! ha, ha, ha... I wonder.... would you be so responsive to get something done in 5 days if your wife asked you? If you're like me, the answer is a big fat no! But God forbid your mistress getting wet again! Ain't gonna happen!! :Brow: I'm with ya bro!!

Adam - thanks for posting. I got an email today from someone on the V8. Doesn't even own a Centurion! Too cool.

Rolf - you said your buddy owns a Centurion?? Is he on this site? How in the world two of these beasts ended up in Germany, owned by two friends is beyond me! That is very cool... :beers:

Hey Steve, read my PM again, but slowly enough : I wrote :"...he owns no Centurion."
He like these cars very much and also has our calendar but he owns no Buick Centurion !

I guess you got a lot of mails now so that such a little misunderstanding might be only normal - don´t worry, Steve ! I appreciate your engagement and all your work in this case !! Thanks a lot !

Still hope we can add more that want to buy these... we'll see.
Also hope to post pics of the finished product with in the next day or so...

Keith - When we went through that entire conversation about the colors, my supplier told me we could not order multiple colors. Since then, she checked with the shirt manufacturer and found that the pricing will be the same if we order multiple colors vs. all one color, so she opened it up for me/us. Originally, she was lead to believe that we wouldn't get a "bulk" discount by buying more than one or two colors. I am happy to report that is not the case any longer. However, it may prove to be a nightmare for me?!!?!?

I removed last names from my post where I showed who ordered what. If your screen name does not appear there, I would ask that you email with your screen name. Several of you (John and John) send me emails, but I am not 100% certain who is who. (Rick, I have yours, so you're good!)

Not the best quality shot, but you get the idea...... I'll close down the ordering in a few days fella's. You fence sitters need to let me know soon!
Thanks,
Steve

ps - I've designed a t-shirt too... who has an interest? If the interest isn't high enough, I will ditch the plan now. Too damn busy to spin my wheels.
If we order more than 20 shirts total, the cost will be approx $10 each complete. (+ $2-$4 for XXL and XXXL) Just need to add shipping. The shirts will be medium Grey, (one color only here guys) with the logo and wording in navy blue. On the left chest, we'll have the word "Centurion", on the back of the shirt, we'll have the Centurion Helmet with Centurion spelled out beneath it. The lettering and the helmet will look "distressed" if that makes sense... Enough interest to keep going?

So let's plan on cutting this off and placing the order by the weeks end.
24 shirts all together. Was hoping for more, but this might not be right for everyone...

Now it's time to open another can of worms on t-shirts. I've designed a t-shirt that is pretty neat looking. Heather grey shirt (only color option) with blue imprint. Centurion logo on the back with CENTURION imprinted on the left chest. $10 a pop. Is there must of an interest?

Silkscreened on the t-shirts -
Embroidered on the golf shirts -

I'll collect the money once I place the order. My plan is to pay for it first, then collect from you all later.

T-SHIRTS:
Guys - if we want to do the t-shirts, we'll need to get a running list on that as well. I'll need to place one order for these as well b/c the costs go up if you place several small orders.

Email me your size choice and the # of shirts.

Hey Will - full frontal of the golf shirt?? It's on this thread...... a page or so back! If you're looking for the t-shirt, we won't get one of them till I place the order. Too costly to make a mock up.....

No worries! Glad you're doing this. Send me an email - dewbers@nationwide.com with your order. (I'm saving them so I know how to reach everyone so I can work out the payment when it's time!)
Thanks Will!

EVERYONE ELSE - time is ticking away. I am going to place the order on the 15th if at all humanly possible. I will contact each person to make payment arrangements once that is done!

T-Shirts - right now, I have about (not 100% sure of this) 4 or 5 guys who want t-shirts. (about 10 shirts total) I am not sure if my supplier will do that small of an order, so if we don't get more, I'll have to postpone this portion!

Thanks gang!
Have a great weekend!!

Time to order the shirts fella's..... I have most of the orders. I plan to send each of you an email to confirm your order. SO, if you haven't emailed me your order (meaning you only placed it here on the thread), SEND ME ONE RIGHT AWAY. (dewbers@nationwide.com)
I'll confirm your order with you personally and make arrangements with you for payment.

Sorry for the delay. The response has been pretty good, though I was hoping for more. That being said, I've tried to keep it fairly organized so there won't be mistakes. We'll see if I am / was successful.
