Warning : Phil, don´t stop there; I´m sure curb yellow will not fit ! It´s not the correct paint for your nice car ! Curb yellow has a complete different stucture and doesn´t reach the beauty and elegance of colonial yellow. But if you are searching for tochup paint have a look to threads regarding "paint", I´m sure you´ll find the very exact one ! ;)

Phil - you're a pretty funny guy! However Rolf is catching you quick!
I like the color. It's different. Yes, it looks very similar to the thousands of diapers I've changed over the years, but if the smell is different, then you should be fine. Plus, she's about as perfect as they come! :xyxthumbs:
Now stop bitching and just enjoy her. :p

Hey Phil, of course that was clear to me; I only picked up your joke and drew it a step forward to reduce the bad-color-ghost who was a bit too big for me !!! ;) [Steve understood me correct.]

I really like this colonial yellow - believe it or not ! And there will be a lot of people who will look admiringly when you will pass them with your car.

But now I´m glad about your last words :

... ... ps, i hope if i keep polishing it, it will get lighter and lighter! shes growing on me, maybe ill keep her, i said maybe! thats if she behaves herself!lol!

Fine that you will give her a chance to conquer your heart - she is worth it ! I wonder how you will end in that process several coffees :coffee: later - hoping the best.

hi rolf, i thought you were playing along with that remark about the curb paint, but wasnt totally sure! anyway, thanks for all the kind words regarding the color. a few people actually told me it looked nice! i think partly due to the black top, the accent stripe and the wheels! they also told me ,as all of you guys did,"give it a chance its way to nice !" i even ordered a few parts for it! nos door edge guards, 2 center caps. phil

Hey Phil.
What's happening with the lovely Ms Velveeta? ( I hope you know I'm teasing!).
Are you growing to love her????
Just curious how the relationship was going?
You got her two new center caps. Wonderful. Women love jewelry.
Did you get her a ring yet??? LOL!

Did you get her a ring yet??? LOL!yeah, ive sort of resigned myself to the color and am looking at the total picture which is pretty darn nice. the condition of this car is unreal, and its rare due to the engine option, stage 1.
i also purchased a set of nos door edge guards, a pair of very nice used die cast quarter panel extension moldings, i had the exhaust tips turned down as per original, i still need to do an alignment and it has a very small power steering leak at the pump, so that needs to be addressed, and thats really it! so all bitching aside, i really do like the car alot!

Hey Phil - can you post some more shots of her? She truly is an amazing gal. I agree with Rich though, they do like their "bling" ! I didn't realize you had a Stage 1 in her? Is that the same Stage 1 that made Buick famous?!?!
If so, I bet she absolutely screams when you push it! :Brow:

If so, I bet she absolutely screams when you push it! :Brow:according to the window sticker which states, modified high performance 455 engine option which included heavy duty cooling and energizer, whatever that means? according to the vin prefix, it does indicate stage one option. plus the original owner was the one that told me about it in the first place.plus rick also confirmed it with his documentation.so its pretty rare im told! i have to take more pics, im really floored and flattered that you guys have such an interest in her, that also makes the car even more appealing to me.thanks, phil!
