Hello to all,

I have been buying and selling new and repro center caps since 1987. Recently I have been offering replated road wheels and lug nuts.

Just curious if anyone knows the correct color to paint the background around the lug nuts for a 1973 Buick. I have a customer that ordered a set of replated wheels from me and I want to provide the correct information. Most of the used wheels I see have the area painted what appears to be a matte black. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mitch. You may email me directly at mitchromanowski@sbcglobal.net

Matte/semi-gloss black is fine. Any higher quality spray bomb should be fine.

By the way, welcome to the board! Glad to have you here:beers: :beers:
