well guys let me start by saying thank you to all of you great guys for all of the encouragement here, its truly terrific, you all are so great! this site has done alot for me in terms of a morale booster, fun, and knowledge thats beyond the galaxies(i mean the planets! although i do like galaxie xls!!)and for putting up with my obnoxious remarks about colonial yellow. once i get on something i dont know when to let go. i am also a brutally honest individual who has made alot of friends for this and have also pissed off others,so be it!since a very early age i was a fanatical perfectionist,and having been artistic ,and an art major as well. i guess it was in my blood. it used to make my dad crazy,he"d always be on my case for nothing other than being way too tough on myself. my hobby has been a double edged sword so to speak, i love cars, but perfect ones! now we all know that in this hobby thats a tough call, in terms of original cars anyway.i have been told by people in this hobby that i have a gift. still i have been very lucky, they have to be low mileage, original paint, documented with a verifiable history... see what i mean!but i am by no means a snob. i love all old cars, practically all buicks,because i grew up with them. ive spent alot of money on perfect cars, some i made money on, some i didnt!! but its only a hobby,right!i thought id get with the times and after 13 years try ebay, i was not comfortable at all , with the idea of buying something 1,200 miles away i couldnt even touch, get with the times philip ,i thought,so i did it ,and all you great guys cheered me on the whole way, how great is that!and you all were totally right onthe money here.i thought hard about this guys, i really did, butttt, i cant stomach this car! its not me , but definitely someone else!!so i am putting her up for sale. probably right back on ebay,i am asking $8,750, thats the $7,500 i paid for it plus i need to re coup my $1,250 for hauling it.the 10 coats of wax are free! if anyone has an interest , fine if not,no biggie ,you may contact me directly at 732-202-8838 thanks, phil
