yeah i do have my camera ready, got a call from the transporter today, hes in south carolina. so were figuring friday. a bad day for me today as i had to put my west highland terrier down. it was sudden,so the brakes were put on my excitement a bit,but on the positive, maybe the car coming will cheer me up.

Sure sorry to hear about your loss, Phil. I've never had a dog but have always been surrounded by them and know how special they are.
The Centurion won't make up for such a loss but I hope it is a bright sunny day when the car arrives and that it'll hlep to ease your pain even slightly.

thank you for your kind thoughts bob, its a tough loss all around considering i went through this exactly two years ago with my other westie, than came my dad last year than my grandmother last october, and here we went again on tuesday. i have had west highland terriers since a small kid,so i have been down this road many times before, but for some reason the loss of the last two(jingles was 17!! and toby this past week was only 10) were the hardest because the bond was so strong between both of them.true soulmates.so as you can see i am a creature of familiarality.at least i have jingles#2, my other westie pup.i am looking forward to the car arriving so i can put my mind in another place, buying these cars when i did was a very good move, they say timing is everything, and the timing couldnt have been better, theyve helped immensely. to move forward and yet take me back as well.how cool is that.

Sorry to hear about your dogs Phil. I too am very attached to my dogs. They are both old, and going down hill. I dread the day when I have to go through what you just did. On a happy note, I can't wait to see pics of your car being unloaded. I happen to LOVE colonial yellow, and I have always wished I could have found a way to buy that car! It's also one of the most highly optioned Centurions I've ever seen. Can't wait to hear about your first drive. I know you'll love it!

thank you very much for your kind words randy. well ,on a much happier note the car arrived on schedule friday afternoon, my friend ed took some really great photos of the whole thing, thank god hes really good with a camera, im as good with a camera as i am with a computer !!!!!so il post them asap.i know i really cut up colonial yellow the other day, lets just say i like it just a bit more now that i own the color! my friend ed is a brutally honest corvette junkie whos as fanatical with everything like we are, soon as the transporter opened the door there i was saying you dont like the color do you?he said wait until he backs it out will ya! i knew what he was going to say because sometimes hes so brutal he pisses me off.once the car was unloaded he flipped out, something he never does unless he owns it or its a vette. he was astounded. totally shocked me ,first thing he says is nice color! he loved the car.my mother, another brutally honest big mouth, says its nice, than asks but why did they paint it that color?alrighty then!!!

Phil, I´m glad that you have your new ride at home now, but I´m sorry about your dog and feeling with you (we also have such a lovely family member) ! So the car really came at the right time to ease your pain.
When reading your last post here I remembered the offer for sale of a Centurion where the special effect of a Centurion was described:
"...it purrs like a tiger ... runs and drives great and if you want to drive a car that not only turns heads, but actually will have people come out of their businesses and tell you how nice they think your ride is -- this is the one -- I've had two Porsches, a Hummer (when they were brand new-with numerous mods) and a Jaguar -- and have never received so many compliments, as I have with this Buick -- from young women, older cooler guys who have their own nice rides and are usually too cool to say anything, business professionals, seniors and people from all different genders, ages, races, backgrounds and even family members who never have anything nice to say -- so whether you're looking for a nice ride or just want to look cool too -- this is the car for you !!! ..."
I love these words! Guess it will be the same with your new car – the color is great and it will be a "head-turner", I´m sure ! And I´m curious seeing some pics – of course.
Wish you all the best with that nice car, Phil !
