Had some time today morning and searched for Centurions which are for sale - here is what I found (3 of them with the VIN ! ):

[73 Centurion]

Wow.

The first one looks great, but $18,500 :shocked:

The second one is from Phoenix and hopefully would be rust free, but dang those seat covers are fugly. The all black dash treatment looks nasty, and the dash is a distinctly darker shade than the door panels. It was either replaced or spray painted with the instruments.

The 3rd one has potential, but the owner states 455 with turbo 350. :confused: It looks like it has the 455 badges so he's probably mistaken about the tranny. I wonder what the "Canvas" top looks like.

The fourth looks nice but "big block 454" means either it's owned by an idiot or has had some nasty surgery. The 24" wagon wheel rims don't look right to me, but selling them would offset some of the $18k price.:rooleyes2:

I've seen the 5th one for sale a year or 2 ago on eBay. With exactly the same pictures. It looks pretty good except for the kinked front bumper.

I'm glad I bought mine when a project car didn't cost $4k.

John, I guess the prices of the two with 18,...k$ are much too high. On the other hand they seem to be in rather good condition. The 5th one seems high priced also to me because of dents at drivers side and bumpers and the high mileage of 378,000 miles. Guess the seller will have to wait another long time for a buyer.

May be the 3rd one has a chance.

But it´s interesting what´s at the market, isn´t it?
