Hey Fire -for what exactly?? Meaning, schematics for the whole wiring system or just for a certain project your in the middle of? I have (as do others) a Fisher Body Service Manual that has 78 pages worth of electrical information. Too much to scan and email. But I'd be happy to send you a section for whatever you're working on... I also have the 72 Full Line Buick Assembly Manual as well. It does have some wiring info in there as well.
So, tell me/us more on what you're looking for and we'll help!

Here's what I've got. The wiring on my '72 is just 'hideous'...horrific to be exact. I'm planning on a long road trip (18-20 hours one way), with my little girl soon - and as such I want to ensure that the wiring is reliable. It's been fine for short jaunts here and there but this'll be different. There are other issues such as the radio, heater, trailering wires, washer fluid pump etc. that need tending to. The convertible top relay also cuts out continuously upon 'closing' the top up.

I have a guy who's willing to cut out some of the melted wires (at the harness), and rewire/repair what he thinks he has to. Basically he'll want to know what wires are what as they come out of the harness I suppose...any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot for your reply none-the-less.

I'll ask him via email what he will require aswell. Maybe you could 'cc' him aswell - if you can find the stuff we might be looking for:

Fire - Damn man, I must apologize... I was out of town end of last week till Sunday and didn't get this to you. I am guessing you don't need it now b/c of the time that's passed? I have a bunch of stuff, but as I said, it's A BUNCH. Too much to scan and email. (I think) Willing to send ya what I can if you still need it and if you can be specfic?!?! Is it the harness itself?
I'll see if that's included in what I have. Bud, I am not the most mechanical guy in the world, so I need you to tell me exactly what you need.

I leave tomorrow yes. Cristian (see email address in previous email), was here last night and worked on the wiring from 8:30pm to 1am. I too am not THAT inclined - especially as it pertains to electrical. Anyhow...the washer pump's working now, as is the heater. Trailer lights are fine now too it seems. Cristian did say that he would like a weekend with the car to work on ALL the wiring. Would you maybe mind emailing him and cc'ing me on what HE might need? I know he has a 'generic' manual with SOME schematics but as you've hinted - perhaps there's something more 'accurate' he could use.

Anyhow...thanks in advance for your help Steve.

Thanks for helping our Kimson - Fire, my offer still stands, but it seems Kimson may have solved the problem for you and me. I just can't seem to find an easy way to copy some 30 pages and email. I guess I could snail mail and still will if needed. Want to see what Kimson's cd has first and then let me know if you need something else?!?!?!
