Hello to all. This is my first centurion and it has been a real pleasure. My 1st Buick was a 72 LeSabre 350, then a 72 Riviera 455 (I couldn't afford the gas back then, so I don't know how you guys do it now), next a 78 LeSabre 301 (which I gifted to my father and he still has running with 300,000+ miles on the original engine), and finally this 73 Centurion convertible 350, which I've had for a couple of years now. Show quality would make me paranoid, so I prefer this as a daily driver during decent weather. I unfortunately still find myself parking it on the far side of the Walmart parking lot. This car brings out a lot of that American pride in people when they see the car and strike up a conversation, and that in itself is worth the effort for those of you who know what I'm talking about.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It looks like there are quite a few nice rides on this site, and more importantly nice people. Here is the vin that you asked for: 4P67J3Y229911. All I can tell you about the history is very minor. First off it was originally brown, which I couldn't take so I changed it to something a little more appealing. Sorry guys. The other thing is there is a gold plaque next to the ash tray that reads: Official car of the 1982 Miss America Boardwalk Pageant Parade. That's about all I know. Any light that you all might be able to shed on that vin would be appreciated.
