Have I got i right when I say that 15 inch wheel/tires are standard size on centurion 1973?
There´s a nice set of Keystone classik wheels for sale close by but they are only 13 inches..

Hey Micke - 15 inchers are correct. You'll need to pass on the 13's.....
Good luck!

you'd have a hard time getting 13 inch rims to fit over your brakes!
Besides 13's would look like toy wheels. There was a 73 on eBay that had 22 inch rims without suspension modifications. The wheelwells are huge on these cars and I think they look better when they are filled up.
I run 235-70's on my 73 and they fit nicely and look in proportion for the car.
I have support the frame on jack stands and let the axle droop to fit the tires in the rear. I don't think this would be required if my rims had more backspace.

Hey John - any chance you can post a pic of your car? Or add a picture to your Avatar. Would love to see your ride!

I'm taking pictures of the current work and will put together a progress thread when I have a bit more. Here's a before and after picture I created from the bodywork and paint phase. Don't be fooled by the before picture. I bondo'd the bottom 1/4 of the rear quarters to get past inspection. This picture has also enjoyed some photo shop touch up. The drivers side had a door with dents and a noticeably different shade of color. It was also missing the chrome at the bottom. It's easy to see how a car can look so much better in an eBay auction than reality.
The lower picture is not a right hand drive vehicle. I just reversed the picture so they appeared to be facing the same way.

Looks nice. The first shot does look nice, but I am sure once the car is done it will look great!
I love those HUGH front bumpers:tonge2: . When I had my car done we removed the front bumper. Took three of us to re-install the front one. Two holding the 5 ton bumper (felt like 5 tons:laugh: )in place and one guy tightening it up.

Good looking car. Can't wait to see and hear more on what you've done!
