if it doesnt have any severe rust issues, this might be a nice buy... especially if the miles are true

Was leather even an option? I've seen so many listed as having "Leather" but the pattern and material looks just like vinyl to me.

"Leather Seats" is a pretty common mistake when I see these cars for sale.
It even comes with an OLDS engine!

This looks pretty nice and I like the color combination. But too far from home.
And the price is definitely in my playground.
I've located two more candidates in this area.
I found a 1971 LeSabre in Cherry Hill NJ. It looks like it needs a lot of work.
The color is dark green (verdemist?) with a saddle interior and black top. The seller looks desperate. I found ads for this car on several Craigslists and the price has dropped from $2900 to $2100. How low will it go?
I've also located the dealer who has the red 1971 Centurion/1972 LeSabre convertible. I know exactly where his lot is and I am intending to take a trip there ASAP. If you look at the picture it looks like you can see the anchor for a fibre glass boot. So I'm thinking he has a 1972 LeSabre, not a Centurion at all. He's asking $5000. I wonder if he'll go down to $3000? HMMMM. Worth a shot.
I'll keep you posted....

That would mean it isn't a '71. Buick didn't offer the fibre glass parade boot (also known as the custom line cover) as an option until 1972. It was offered on the Lesabre and the Centurion.
It's pictured on both models in the 1972 Buick brochures.
So I think the seller has listed car incorrectly for some reason.
But I hope to check the car out within the next few days since I've located the seller's lot.
I really wanted the custom line cover when I was trading my '71 Buick. The only car I found at the time was what to become my bamboo cream 1973. The '73 had the vinyl boot.
It was May of 1974 and I was having a great deal of mechanical problems with the '71. I was actually trying to trade the Centurion in on a '74 LeSabre Luxus convertible but none of the dealers in my area had any in stock.
Four weeks later they were everywhere, which usually happens in my life. Including triple maroon and maroon and white which were my first two color choices.
