Hey guys, here is the picture some of you have asked about... Thanks to Per for helping me "downsize" it so I could get it to fit!! :beers:

Our local Mayor asked me if I would drive him in the Halloween parade... I jumped at the chance! Bought a parade boot, spent an un-Godly amount of money to have it painted, got it from the painter two days before the parade, only to find out I didn't have the "female" ends of the pins to install in my drop top!! :Blasting: :Blasting: :Blasting: :Blasting:

I was not happy. My fault for not knowing better, but it turned out ok. Our Mayor had a stroke a few years back and his motor skills are a bit off. He got in the ride and hopped up onto my top tub before I could say a word!! You'll see that he's sitting square in the middle of my vinyl cover in the tub itself. So I was pretty pleased I didn't have the parade boot install b/c he would have crashed right through it.

Yes, my kids looked scared to death because they were!! Something like 3,000 people turned out and it was pretty overwhelming for us rookies! We had fun, but they didn't know what to do with themselves. Plus, Dad (me) was mad at them b/c my boys were to "cool" to where their costumes. So Mr Mayor and my little girl were the only ones in the car to where them! (I didn't have one either, but I will next year!) Can you say Santa Steve!?!?!

That is a cool shot!!! Have to say black is a beautiful color, it's a pain in the rear to keep clean, but when it's clean it's PERFECT!!! It looks great Steve!

It will look even better with the proper passenger side mirror installed;)

By the way Steve, I used two regular sheet metal screws to hold down the mirror bracket to the door. Most likely it wasn't the proper way on installing it, but it worked. The mirror was attached with a phillip screw that I dug up in my parts bins, it's wasn't the original piece. Maybe some one on the board can lend some advise on it.

Normally IŽm not a friend of black colour, Steve, because my daily driver is a black BMW 525 and how Rick told us "it's a pain in the rear to keep it clean ... ". But your Centurion looks really good in this all black !! :xyxthumbs: I wondered myself how clearly the side line comes out so that would be the only colour combination to which I wouldnŽt add a pinstripe. Also the tires are the right ones for that car in my opinion – no white walls. That brings a little touch of a race car - a bit more aggressive; => a perfect black design and perfect for Halloween anyway !!;)

Thanks for that impression, Steve, and we are waiting for a picture with passenger side mirror and parade boot (BTW: In spring IŽll have installed mine also.).
