The guy has posted other stuff on here. Not sure if anyone has purchased items from him. I know several of you 73 owners have asked about a piece like this before: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BUICK-CENTURION-TRUNK-EMBLEM_W0QQitemZ230189840965QQihZ013QQcategoryZ140 715QQtcZphotoQQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Good luck!

Found this guy on eBay as well... Thought it might be worth passing on!

Yikes! I've only seen 2 of these show up on eBay, and they both went for more than I was willing to spend.

If you have one that is hazed over it can be polished! I've done it a couple of times with mine. It usually lasts 2 or 3 years.

It's easier to work with them off the trunk, so I'm going to use nuts and bolts instead of rivets.

Depending on the condition I'd recommend beginning with 800 grit sandpaper on a sanding block. Once the surface is level most of the haze should be gone replaced with sanding scratches. You can then step up to higher grit papers (I have some 2000 grit emery cloth that's great). After that Novus Plastic polish brings back the clarity.

The black background fades and can fool you into thinking the plastic is still hazy. Focus on the helmet and surface reflections.

All of the ones I've seen have had the clear plastic higher than the surrounding chrome. Mine is still higher after a couple of polishings. This is good because you don't have to worry about marring the chrome.

If you've got one it can be saved. If it's missing you can buy a complete parts car for the price of one of these. So keep your eyes open.
