could someone give me the name of the color and the color number of my car. It needs a repaint on the back, the fenders are rusty so there will be some welding to be done. :bawl:

Michel, Your paint code will be on the data tag riveted to the cowl, on the passenger side. Open your hood, stand by the windshield on the passenger side, and look down at the cowl. It's a small rectangular piece of metal riveted to the cowl. There will be a number code PNT XX-X for the paint and vinyl top colors. I think yours is antique gold with a sandlewood top, but you need to check the data plate to be sure.

If I got it right your paint code should be 57 Antique Gold met..(it’s the last numbers on the second row on the cowl tag)

With the paint codes, particularly the Dupont numbers you can order spray paint cans filled with your color. I used these and the color match is excellent.

I had to do some bondo repairs to get past inspection. It was an amateur job and I've since had it fixed the right way but it worked. The color match was excellent and went a long way to hiding the patches.

Tower paint is the company I used. http://www.towerpaint.com/

There are many others.
