With the most interesting thread about the exported 73 Centurion to the Danish Royal family, I thought perhaps some of you might be interested to know how many 71s and 72s were built for export. Since we don't have the 73 records YET, I can't help with that one right now but hopefully sometime down the road that will be possible.
In '71, 175 cars were exported as follows: 128 - 4 door hardtops, 38 - Formal Coupes and 9 - convertibles.
In '72, 253 cars were exported: 183 - 4 door hardtops, 60 - Formal Coupes and 10 - convertibles.

Thanks for posting this Bob,
Seems like not too many got exported which probably made the model pretty anonymous outside the US. Not so seldom is the Centurion missing in for ex spare part lists even in America. Suppose you can’t see what countries they got exported to?
A funny thing happened when I visited the “Time of the Vikings meeting”. I had just parked my car when three guys with raised eyebrows headed in my cars direction. They looked to be the kind who had been into the hobby of classic American cars for a while. They circled the car scratching their heads and I heard one of them say “Centurion”  . I was just gone tell them that the Centurion replaced the Wildcat 1971 when another person approached me asking about the car and later they were gone.
I’ve seen two Centurions here so far, actually at the same time at a big meeting in May down in Ystad (my hometown), one purple 71-72 convertible and one red&black formal coupe that looked to be great condition. Typically they were going in the opposite direction on this big meeting, so I never got a chance to talk to the owners and take some picts. O well, I will probably bump in to them another time.

No, Per, the only information we have are the numbers with no specifics. It would be interesting to know where they did go though.
