I went to the Buick Club of America National meet today in Bellevue, Wa. It was great to see so many Buicks all in one place (A first for me). I only went as a spectator and admirer, as my own lesabre isnt quite worthy of showing.... yet. I was able to see Brian's 71 formal coupe up close, but didnt get to say hello to him personally. His car is every bit as nice as the pictures of it that you see here. I was disapointed that there werent any other Centurions (or 71-73 LeSabres) at the show today. There were however, many buicks of all sizes and shapes from as early as 1909 all the way up to 2007. Buick has always had a very unique style and class, and i was fortunate to be able to walk thru so many generations of their different style.
The swap meet wasn't very big, but i was able to pick up a NOS center cap and another that was driver quality used. Anyhow, I had a great time and was able to talk to a few enthusiast. I took some photos and if anyone would like to see some, let me know, and i will post them here... If it is ok with everyone.

Of course, we'd love to see them, Roger. Please put them on.

Thanks, Roger. I'd have rather been there but your photos and the ones on the BCA website ease some of the pain at missing a National.

Yes, that is Brians 71. His 59 Electra was at the show as well, but unfortunately I didnt get a picture of it.

Thanks, Roger! Great photos. My favorite is the first one (#11) Is there any car made that is as beautiful as a '54 Skylark convertible? And those Kelsey-Hayes wheels look incredible on any Buick.

Roger, thank you so much for shooting those excellent photos. I was so busy running around that I failed to capture any, so it's great to add yours to the photo record of our meet.
I'm sorry that we didn't get a chance to meet, but I'll try to connect with you at a future Buick event . . .
I did see a '73 Centurion convertible early during the meet, but it was not there during the final days. And, despite the fact that there were no other Centurions on hand, it was fun to see an early production '71 Electra 225 4-door hardtop from North Dakota. This was finished in the very beautiful (and seldom seen) Tealmist Gray, which was an exclusive full-size '71 Buick color. I have only seen a couple of other '71's finished in this color, so this was a special treat.
