Hello kungphuphil

25K for a 70 Electra convertible seems to be rather strong even if it’s in good condition, especially if you compare with Scott and Tony’s convertibles that have been for sale lately.

Does the Electras bring in more money than the LeSabres&Centurions in general, or is it only this one that’s expensive?

I just love finding these gorgeous convertibles for sale around the country and posting them for comparison and general interest.

The 225's might be my second-favorite style of car, and the Bonnevilles are right up there. I can't even begin to consider buying such cars, it will likely be a long time before I can even fix my Centurion. That 225 is $25K! I saw a '73 estate wagon on that same page that was CHERRY! I'd have to take off the simulated wood grain though; who in the world ever thought that looked good? My folks had a '76 that looked good with the Buick rally wheels! My mom still raves about their '69 Bonneville wag' though! (wide track, lots of punch)

A buddy of mine had a '70 El Dorado 500 and cracked the block by pouring water on it after it overheated  That rebuilt 550 looks really smoove, too.
