No not a drinking club, though that would be cool, I mean llike a car club just for Centurion owners. I guess this site is the online equivalent, but like any group it takes membership and some nominal kind of contribution to make it rewarding for the group at large.

My sense of style compells me to want a Centurion jacket, hat, owner's club sticker, etc. I have owned a '93 Mustang LX 5.0 in the past, but that's the only other car I'd consider joining social scenes around (probably because I'll never own a Corvette or Viper, likely). I mean, let's face it, the Dodge Dakota 4dr is a good-looking, practical, mid-size truck with a V8, but who in their right mind would want a club formed around it? Maybe my dog, but his organizational skills are limited to remembering which end of the truck to try to jump up into.

Anyway, just a suggestion from a Centurion enthusiast who's glad to have this website. I'm guessing it's still the only meeting place (real or virtual) for folks like us, and there's probably some opportunity to make money for a self-motivated entrepreneur into making Centurion memorabilia and attire.

We're a selective group, it's about time we started acting like one! Maybe we coould start with a rally and car show somewhere. See how many Centurions we can get in one place.

Phil, you've got some great ideas and maybe we can take some of these on over time.

Meanwhile, many of us are members of the Buick Club of America, and at least three of us on these forums had Centurions featured in the April, 2006 issue of the club's excellent magazine, the "Buick Bugle". Membership in the BCA and participation in the club's national meets are probably the best short-term options for connecting face-to-face with other Centurion owners.

Even so, we certainly have the option of taking on some additional activities of our own, like developing site-branded merchandise.

Yes, cool ideas.

At least in our BCA club, they have Centurion ball caps for sale. BCA also maintains a list of who owns what vehicles, so we can find other Centurion owners when we want to.

I seem to remember polo shirts for our members a few years ago... :Brow:
