Strange to see that the hood is not a '73, and that there are the "Buick holes" in the hood, which no Centurion ever had. Perhaps it has the hood off an Electra 225 or a LeSabre, but the pics are too small to see just what it is he's selling.

Wouldn't a '73 Centurion with a working ragtop be worth more than $5k? I'm thinking it's a frankenstein job. Probably a Chevy Caprice with stolen badges and hood. :eek:

The guy's close enough to Austin to go check it out just to satisfy my curiosity. Maybe I will.

Yeah, LeSabre (3 holes) hood (71 or 72 vintage), 71 Electra/Estate Wagon grille, 71 front end parts...71 dash bezels.

I love this car's description as "MINT". Yeah, right.:confused:

I aggree with you all. Also the trunk emblem is not for a '73 Centurion. The vin does show it is a 73 Centurion 4P67U3X

4 = Buick
P = Centurion
67 = convertible
U = 455 - 4bbl dual exhaust
X = Fairfax, Kansas

My guess it was a trashed car that was put back together with what ever big car Buick parts. Maybe it has some questionable history.
