Hey Kimson - hope you're well. Are these bezels correct my 72? If so, I guess I'll need to buy them on eBay? I would've bought them direct had I known you were selling...... Might be interested in the rear lights too?
Thanks
Steve

ps- Might try to install the remote trunk release this weekend. Not sure though. May just wait till the fall and do some of these projects!

Hi, I don't think those bezels are correct for your car, at least not the left one, since it's missing the hole for the top switch. I guess the right one could work. The rear lights are not correct either, I would hold out for a nice set of correct Centurion lights, they have a slightly different design and show up every now and then.

Steve, this style dash bezel is correct for 1972, but I don't recall your car having the trip set and speed alert options.

Hey Kimson and Adam - thanks for the note. I agree with you Kimson, so I'll take a pass on your lights at this point. Mine is a rag top, so I do need a left bezel that has the space for the switch. Adam - My current right side bezel has a space for the trip set, but it doesn't do anything. Just a little black knob that sticks out. What would go in that spot normally? Just a blank?
I've attached a picture a my dash... These are still pictures of when I bought the car. I haven't taken any digitals of my own yet. That day is coming very soon!
So, should I buy this set???

Steve,

The radio bezel you need is just like mine. The one in your car has the speed alert/trip odo opening, but the car lacks the option, if I remember correctly.

Here is mine:

Here is a picture of my bezels... I just went out and shot this. The right side is like Kimson's, but made of real wood. I wonder if that is stock for 73, or something someone customized? BTW, I have a 72 radio/8-track to install. I purchased it from Keith (My3buicks)........ just haven't done it yet.
The left side is pretty much like Adam's, less the A/C. (Which I wish I had when it's 90 degrees out!!!) Thoughts, idea's and suggestions welcome.
I would like to get bezels that are 1. stock and 2. a little cleaner looking....

I can't get the pic to upload. It's saying my file is too big. I'll send it to Adam's email. (the one you're using for the calendar.) Then perhaps you can load it up? Sorry. I know just enough to be dangerous!

thanks,
Steve

I forgot you have no AC:Dou:

Those bezels may be harder to get than you think.

I would try Buick Farm - www.buickfarm.com (http://www.buickfarm.com)

I've done some business with Doug in the recent past, and he's good people. He does seem to have quite a few things for out 71+ cars.

Yes Kimson, it appears to be real wood. I'd be more than happy to send you an email if you want to see it. I sent them to Adam to post.

Hey Adam - yes, I've heard of BuickFarm and just spoke to Doug on Friday. As luck would have it, he's in Smyrna DE. About 15-20 miles from my back door. I was going to ask you all about him and now I don't have to. He seemed like a good guy. I'm searching his site for these bezels as we speak. He's got one, but it has the spot for the alert/trip thing. But as you know, I don't have that option.

Kimson, et al - I was mistaken. It's not real wood. I took it apart last night and found out I was mistaken. I swear, it looks and feels like wood, but it's not. OK, I need, or should I say want correct bezels. Left and right side.
I'll keep searching. If you all stumble across anything, let me know.
Thanks!
Steve
