Have a few questions here. A while back I aquired a '73 Centurion convertible parts car. The rear glass window has the defroster lines on it. It appears factory, and I did save the glass, in case I decided to replace the plastic rear window with the correct glass. Anyway I was wondering was there an option on the convertibles having the rear window wired glass defroster? Or is this rear glass window an aftermarket. The other question is, if it was an option, does anyone have a photo or better yet the switch or any info on this option? Why...please don't ask:Dou: I never looked for the switch on the parts car and its long gone to the crusher, real dumb move on my part. If it was an option I want to install the option.

Thanks

Thanks Keith,

Spring of '08 I will be re-doing my top, it's starting to show it's age (11 years). I will have to see, maybe it just needs some work instead of entirely being re-done. No rips, just that its stretched and flappy and it's missing the hardware pieces for the rear glass window. If it can be I may just have it serviced (repaired) instead, along with all new seals/rubber moldings. I have aquired the rear window missing pieces this past year, so that I can replace the plastic window with the proper glass. I was wondering about the rear window heated glass option, being I got a hold of one. I will be installing it, just need now to research the switch and the location where it goes on the dash.

Now that I got ya. If you are planning to attend the Columbus meet could you bring along the template for the fender mounted front light monitors. This way I can measure it up while at the meet and at least cut the mounting holes. I never knew that the passanger side was slightly shifted towards the driver, until you told me about it.

Well I found the location of the switch (below) and wiring diagram. Now I need to find a donor:rooleyes2: The switch is located next to the convertible top switch, though they seem to be identical, if so I do have 2 extra switches, but I'll still need a dual switch mounting plate #19.
#17; Switch is for the convertible top or an electric sunroof. #18; Switch is for the rear blower or the rear heated glass. #19 is what i will need to find "Plate LH, Assessory. The hunt is on.:) Hopefully I can find one as it is also used on full size hardtops '73-'74 and we all know Buick made a billion of them. Anyone have one???
