Looks like it's going to Norway.

How did it go? Have you closed the deal yet?
What are their plan to get it to Norway?

I talked to him yesterday, and he has gotten quotes from shipping companies. We are working on payment details right now.

He is "looking forward to restoring it!"

According to the shipping company I used, the very best port to ship cars from was Savannah/GA and after that NY. Houston was fair but Miami in FL not a good idea. They said the ports had very different routines of storage and packing that effected delivery times and the risk of transport damage.

For 1500 you would only get a car of that kind to pick spare parts from that would be very far from driveable here in Scandinavia. So I think he can afford spending some money on the interior, the rust around the rear window, trunk etc and still have the car in fairly “right” price. Additional to that comes the shipping, taxes, custom and inspection costs of course.

Below some links on Wildcats for sale here in Sweden right now, divide with seven from SEK=USD. The prices are even higher in Norway.

I guess the Wildcat is crossing the Atlantic by now?

I would think so...I haven't heard anything from the buyer since I sent the car on its way.
