Trunk lock

ANother path forged for anyone needing to tackle this-

I ordered the complete chrome trunk lock set from Rock Auto for my 72.

The linkage that came with it was to short, at least I had the original linkage.

Lock cylinder fit perfect except for 1 small problem-

It only fit perfect sideways. Instead of the keyhole being vertical, it only fit horizontal. Which makes the whole thing null and void

Thanks for the heads up on these items...us full size guys seem to have the most trouble when trying out "new" parts for our cars. There aren't enough of us for them to take notice when something isn't correct.
