Door Strikers

Nor sure where to post these, but thought this was the place-

Just a heads up for any thinking about getting these.

I ordered dood strikers from Rock Auto for my 72. They were not like the originals, they required a 3/8ths " allen wrench. I took the hard plastic off the new ones and put them on the old ones and could notice the difference in door function and tightness right off the go.

I did the exact same thing....... Kept the new ones as backups, but took the plastic cylinders off the new ones and put them on the old ones. Man, the door closes 1000 times easier and it a tight fit. No wiggling, moving or any of that! I am very happy! :laugh:
