Anyone who can give me some advice about where to find some touch-up paint for the Centurion?
On Ebay I only find such for newer cars.
I only need paint for smaller spots/dings
My colour code should be 24 Medium Blue, if I got it right?

Thanks

What I think you are referring to is the small tube of touch-up paint, Per. These were offered when the cars were new and, while these can occasionally be found at swap meets, for paint that is now well over 30 years old, they are pretty much display items only as the paint is thick and gummy and not really usable. I have several colors for the 72s but it isn't something you'd want to put on your car. I don't know if there are any other options for you unless you would have a very small quantity mixed for your use. Perhaps some of the other members will have some ideas.

There are people who can mix the paint for you. I have a friend who mixed me a bottle of Arctic White for the convertible.

Or you can get the paint in a spray can -

You are right Bob, I was thinking on that kind of bottle with a small brush in the lid, same type as women’s nail varnish. Just perfect to fill in small dings on the hood.
As you say too old paint doesn’t do the job.

Fantastic link Adam!
They seem to have just what I’m after. I’ve just asked them if they ship to Europe which they probably do, otherwise I can have a bottle sent to one of my American colleagues.
Thanks!:xyxthumbs:

It sounds like Adam has you pointed in the right direction, Per, but if you ever come across one of the old tubes, the correct part number for the tube is 1051555 and 1051584 for the spray can. These are for 1973 Fisher Code 24 and sales code D -- Medium Blue Metallic.

Thanks for the info Bob,
One bottle (1/2 oz.) of Touch Up Paint Color was 8.95:-, which isn’t that bad.
I’ve asked them if they ship to Europe, no replay yet. Perhaps a too small order for them, we’ll see.

I used the touch up paint from http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ for the first time yesterday and the colour matched perfectly!
I can recommend this for those of you that needs to fill in dings etc on your original paint.
