Several weeks back a member was talking about paint and the Tower Paint company came up,they mix bottles of touchup and spray aeresol cans,They are temporarily closed down due to a fire and will reopen when they find a new building,Anyone know any other companies who do the same thing Tower did?

And why can't I find black? Is it because it's not a color?? I put in 72 Buick All Others (b/c they don't list Centurions). It does not show a paint color for black. What in the world am I missing?

What I found in Germany is this site where you could translate your color code into a modern new color code which should be understandable for every professional painter or paint shop. With that code they should be able to mix the correct color for your car without problems and even if you only want to get a small bottle of it.

http://color-online.glasurit.com/CCC/m1frameset.php

Fill in by clicking in the named fields manufactorer, model (LeSabre = Centurion), year, color class and color type, then click on color search and you will get the codes. Under "Std. No." you will find the code which you know for your color from the Centurion Service Manual or from the Fisher car code at your car (for example itīs 11 for my Arctic White ). Under "Color Code" and under "COLOR-PROFI" or "System" you find the codes for the professionals. They will understand those codes to mix your color.

This way it was no problem to get the paint for my parade boot here in Germany right around the next corner !
Hope (but feel sure) it will work in the US too !

Any one have any thoughts on why I can't find black on that other site?
