73' Bumper Center cushion

My 73' currently has front bumper guards and I have the chance to buy a 40" center cushion from a non-bumper guard car. Will this work if I just remove the bumper guards or do the side sections have to be replaced too?

I'm pretty sure that's all you will need. I don't think the corner pieces are cut.
