Found two cut cables under the passenger seat when vacuuming, one white/black and one yellow/black.
From the manual they seems to have to do with some kind of seat belt warning system, I guess the wiring could be to prepare for this option if chosen?
Does anyone recognize this??

Hi Per
I have the same wires
But i have no idea on how to connect them properly
When i did connect them something started buzzing (very softly) in my seats
In the belt housing is a connector available but no wires near them
I think i know how it is supposed to work due a combination of switches in the seats, a connector in the seatbelt housing, the buzzer, the warninglight in the dash and the ignition switch
But i don't have a wiring schematic so I'm not sure
If someone has a schematic for me i would appreciated it very much

Hey Erik,
Interesting, I looked for that connector in the seatbelt housing you mentioned, but couldn’t find any.
I also have a buzzer when leaving the car with the lights on, wonder if it could be the same one?
I do have the schematics but only on paper, have no access to a scanner either.
However if you tell me what kind of info you’re after, I do my best to help you!

Hi Per
The buzzer is indeed multifunctioned
It also is for the speed alert belts and the lights
I am looking for the complete wiring schematic for the belt system but i am in no hurry
I would also like any information for the complete electrical system
So maybe when you are able to scan the schematics in the future think of me please

Erik, the best would be if you could get the whole Buick 73 manual.
Not 100% sure but I think that Michel Haak has it on CD. If you contact him he might be able to help you;)
