Is there anyone reproducing door sill plates for our Centurions, or does anyone know if full size B-body GM plates from the other divisions would work such as a Pontiac, Olds or Chevrolet? They always seem to take quite a beating and scuffing over the years, particularly near the seat belt retractors.
Thanks for the help and suggestions!

You could check out this site http://www.buickcenturion.com/
but a set of sill plates for a two door will cost $126
Hope this helps you

Thanks for the link Erik! It's great to see them being reproduced, the originals take alot of abuse and wear & tear in that area over the years.

Hi Jeff,
You can polish your existing sill plates. I think the easiest way is to remove the sill, screw it lightly to a scrap of wood to hold it in place and mask the logo with painters tape.
You can either use metal polish and elbow grease, or use a power ball and a drill.
Once you get them cleaned and polished a quick touch up with metal polish keeps them gleaming.
If you've got a freind who is good at detail painting (like someone who enjoys models) they can usually touch up the logo if the paint has flaked off.
You can clean up and polish yours and sell them on eBay to offset some of the cost of a brand new set.

That price seems kind of high, do some more research to see if they are the same as on the impalas. If they are, you probably have 50 vendors with a lot cheaper prices.
I took mine for the 66 Wildcat out to the swap meet and they matched to a set for a same year Impala, so it was $49 for a set.

Hi Kimson,
That sounds like good advice to me; I would definitely check it up if was hunting for such.
They are Fisher on all GM cars, right..?

Ames Performance (Pontiac) has them. Just bought a pair for $64 and they match perfectly. These are GM OEM endorsed parts.
