73 Centurion Convertible Door lock knob

Well, I am not a car person by any stretch of the imagination. My hubby owns a Buick Centurion Convertible, 73, and mentioned he needs to replace the "door lock knob" on the door.

This is the doohickey that lifts up and down next to the window. He just needs the whatchamacallit that screws onto the whatever so it looks nice. :confused4:

Anyone understand what it is I am mentioning? And could you head me in the direction of getting one? I would like to surprise him with it.

Welcome to the Centurion board. There are no dumb questions, there are quite a few smart ass answers, but no dumb questions. :D

You can buy new door lock knobs at most auto stores. You can find ones that are similar to the original or more unusual ones with 8-balls, or dice on them.

Finding an exact match is more difficult, but the differences are really small. If you replace both no one will know.
