Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me where i can find a Heater Water Control Valve for a '73 Centurion with Climate Control
On the site of Classic Buick.com they only sell them for
71-72 LeSabre-Centurion-Electra-Riviera with Manual A/C and 69-72 Special-Skylark-GS with A/C
Are the they the same?
Or maybe one of you has a working one available from a parts car

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

I beleive all of the valves are the same. Apply a vacuum and they turn off the water, release it and the valve opens. You should be able to get one from an autoparts store. If you want to try a salvaged one you can check it's operation with a vacuum pump if you have one.

Thanks John
That is the way i found out mine wasnt working
I think i will take a chance and order 71-72LeSabre-Centurion-Electra-Riviera with Manual A/C from Classic Buick.com
I believe also that they are all vacuum operated (somebody tell me if i am wrong)
Experience with other parts tells me that i wil have the part faster if i order in America than if i order the same part over here at my local partsstore
