What color is that?

It looks like Vintage Red, paint code 73, which was an exclusive Riviera color in 1972. The body side moldings are incorrect that are on the car now.

Only 26 convertibles were built in SCO Vintage Red and this one has all the documents to prove it. As Brad has noted, the current protective side molding is incorrect and the documentation shows it had the optional paint stripe as well. The seller notes the car has had body work (and my guess is probably a re-paint too) and also says the car should have a total restoration. Although it is not fully loaded, it is nicely optioned and appears to be very worthy of that total restoration. It is a rare one that needs to be brought back to its original glory.

I thought it might be Vintage Red, but couldn't remember if that was available on these cars or not. I now remember Carl's 72 is painted Vintage Red, and he had specified it was a Riv only color. Thanks guys.
